Our Qualified Staff

At Fingers 'n' Thumbs Day Nursery, we choose our staff based on their ability to provide the quality of care and dedication to your child you would expect as a parent.

Therefore, it is our general policy to appoint only professional, qualified Nursery Nurses or those training towards a suitable qualification. We employ a S.E.N coordinator, designated safeguarding lead and equal opportunities coordinator.

Each staff member has received a comprehensive induction programme covering subjects such as Paediatric First Aid, Basic Food Hygiene and the extensive nursery practices to familiarise themselves with our standards and procedures. Our nursery staff receives regular training and updates provided by BCP Council, either by attending courses or through cascaded on-site training.
